The business of Rainmaker Worldwide Inc. (OTC:RAKR) – nobody goes thirsty.
Sept 12, 2017. Rotterdam, Netherlands – Rainmaker Worldwide Inc. (OTC: RAKR) (“Rainmaker” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce Rainmaker Worldwide Inc. is now a public company, listed on the NASDQ Over the Counter, trading under the symbol RAKR.
Our purpose: to provide clean water for communities in need so that nobody goes thirsty.
Today, more than 800 million of the world’s poorest people live without access to an improved source of drinking water. This has a devastating impact on families, communities and entire regions, robbing them of their health, income potential, and opportunity for progress.
Rainmaker builds two types of energy-efficient fresh water-producing technologies:
- 1. Air-to-Water, which harvests fresh water from the air, producing 5,000 to 20,000 liters of drinking water per day
- 2. Water-to-Water, which transforms seawater or polluted water into drinking water producing 37,500 to 150,000 liters of drinking water per day
Both can be wind and solar powered, which leaves no carbon traces. Options are also available for hybrid, grid or diesel-powered models.
Markets for Rainmaker Air-to-Water technology
- – Humanitarian applications in traditional areas of water scarcity
- – Island and rural communities with limited fresh water supplies
- – Temporary humanitarian applications in disaster or war zones
- – Growing industrial and commercial applications
- – Corporate CSR programs
Markets for Rainmaker Water-to-Water technology
- – Communities with inadequate or no access to a fresh water source or reliable energy source, but close to a significant supply of seawater or polluted water
- – Cities or regional governments restoring rivers, lakes, and harbors
- – Corporations looking for energy-‐efficient technology to clean and potentially reuse waste water
Affordable drinking water
Our target market is the estimated 800 million people who do not have access to clean water.1 The World Health Organization specifies 50 liters per person per day as the recommended “intermediate” quantity needed to maintain health, hygiene and for all domestic uses.2
Rainmaker water is affordable and competitive.
The world’s water problem is getting worse
“The world’s population is growing. Currently it’s approximately 7.5 billion, and is projected to become 8 billion by 2023 and 9 billion by 2038. Much of this new growth will come in regions that are water stressed, specifically Africa, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Mexico.”, states Mr. Michael O’Connor, CEO of Rainmaker.
“Lower income countries are most vulnerable as they tend to lack good governance and do not have the resources to invest in water infrastructure. With nearly 78% of the world’s poor living in rural areas, they are the first and hardest hit by water scarcity, suffering significant income losses.”
Why we went public
Where the long-term benefits of being publicly traded are numerous, our priority at Rainmaker is speed to market. With our patented technology and low cost per liter, we have a window of opportunity to solidify a leadership position for the delivery of fresh water. To meet market demand and execute flawlessly, we require the financial and human resources afforded by a public company.
A public entity also gives us the ability to consider strategic mergers and acquisitions, attract and retain the highest caliber employees with offers of company stock, and provide greater access to capital at a lower cost.
The fundamental measure of our success will be the shareholder value we create both today and over the long term.
